What Do You Think of Socialism?
by minimus indo you support socialism?
is it something that you would want in your country?.
-
Charles Gillette
Hi Mini! Socialism is the doctrine that man has no right to exist for his own sake, that his life and his work do not belong to him, but belong to society.
Is the power of society limited or unlimited?
What do you think, do we have inalienable, individual rights and that society may make only such laws as do not violate these rights? That would make society limited.
Or, can society make any laws it wishes and force them upon us? That would make society unlimited.
To be continued by our many different responses to your topic.

Its all about the moon
by zeb inhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhtagwzkjhk.
do the gb and their backers know of this and like fields of thought but are scared to death to go public?.

Zeb. I watched the video and to say the least I find it to be 'mind-boggling'.
I don't know how to respond after watching this video. Somethings are on the fringe, the outer edge of the general population.
Does knowing the reality of origins and proving such take away our whole education system in all fields of disciplines, all branches of knowledge and indoctrinations?
I myself don't usually get involved in such mind-boggling subjects, unless of cause it involved the mind-boggling history of the organization known as Jehovah's Witness/Governing Body. I am 74 years old and have accepted that for me life is shorter now and i accept that there are many unknowns i will not get to know.

Cut back on our work schedule, who is going to pay the bills. Also, sorry but I can't make any contributions to the Kingdom hall because you told me to cut back on my work schedule.

Most every night, where I work I transport dead persons to the morgue. Others I work with have told me that around 3:00am they hear voices in the morgue.
I asked them have they experienced something more than physical life? Just the voices inside the cold morgue. Did you go inside and check it out? No!
So, here I go again, what to make of this? I don't hear any voices even when I go to check it out and wait around awhile. I'm talking about professional persons in the health care industry.
I have no evidence that there is something more than the realm of time and space and matter ,something more than physical life.
Now I'm not asking about what is written in all the various books out there. Have you experience conclusively, personally something like this that you can't explain.
I know it's asking about anecdotal personal accounts, hearsay rather than hard facts. I would still like to hear your story if you want to share it.
I'm 74 years old and have never had any anecdotal experience that would convince me that there is something more than physical life as we live it.
Thanks for sharing. Blueblades

Do You Think Jehovah’s Witnesses Really Believe They Are Living In The Time Of The End?
by minimus ini think they talk a good game and that’s about it..
-
Charles Gillette
Minimus, Both of us along with million of us at one time believed it, didn't we? I mean back in the day the best among us believed it before the internet explosion right.
So, I think that today some hang on hoping that they are living in the time of the end. It's so sad.
As far as the big boys I don't think that they believe it at all. Their in it for the money and luxury life.
The new ones are like we were back in the day hoping that day will come soon, sooner than they think, near, nearer than they think etc, etc.
Remember the "Carrot" we use to grab at back then. again so sad.

How Would You Help A JW. Recognize They Do Not Have The Truth?
by minimus inevery witness says they are “ in the truth”.
that expression implies that what they say is the “truth “.
how could you help a witness understand that they clearly do not have “the truth “?.

Hi Mini! Two questions. What is the most important scripture in Watchtower theology?
What is the most important event in Watchtower history?
They may know the answer or they may not. Either way if the conversation has their interest we can continue from there.
Notice there is no apostate question here. The question ultimately will reveal to them whether they have the truth or not by their own answers and follow through.
That cuts to the chase and no time is wasted by letting them do the speaking and come up with the right answers.
However, for some cognitive dissonance may affect the actual results for them.
This i have learned from Don Cameron.

1919 - A momentous year for Jehovah's Witnesses!
by The Fall Guy inthe org's very existence depends on this mystical year - a fabrication created by mr. rutherfraud to convince the credulous* that he & his pals had been personally selected by god almighty as the "faithful slave" and the only true religion.
w16 march p. 29 par.
2 questions from readers - in 1919, jesus appointed “the faithful and discreet slave” over god’s cleansed people to give them spiritual “food at the proper time.” .
-
Charles Gillette
The Fall Guy, Don Cameron's book, Captives of a Concept, understanding the lllusionary concept that holds Jehovah's Witnesses captives.
Concentrates on the Watchtower teaching of the "Faithful Slave" the doctrine on which all others rest and logically simply pulverizes it. Down comes the whole structure.
Nowwhat? How true and yet Mormonism exist's because credulous persons believe it without evidence just like Jehovah's Witnesses do.

Paying Legal Fees Illegally?
by Charles Gillette inpaying legal fees out of the world wide work fund is it legal to do it?
first we need to know what the purpose is for having a www fund.. i'm not computer savvy or an "it" when it comes to putting information together to show here like so many others here can.. will someone explain how the watchtower society can legally use the www fund to pay out monies, legal fees and court directed payments to the one who have been sexually abused by pedophiles from the watchtower organization.. again what is the sole purpose in establishing the www fund?.
is it not for kingdom interest world wide and not to use it to pay out their guilty criminal activity.
-
Charles Gillette
OrphanCrow, Times of disaster or is it a time of disaster for them. Giving no consideration for those ones who have been abused. As if money absolves them of their responsibility. Money paid by the rank and file.
sir82, Thanks for the blurb. I don't see where it covers acts of criminality, or is child abuse not a crime.

sir82. Is there anything written in the literature i.e. "Announcing Jehovah's Kingdom" as a heading on the top of the Watchtower magazine that specifically mentions the purpose of the wwwfund. I remember that they did have a special contribution box in the back of the kingdom hall for this.
